JTC, SKF protest enters 566th day

JAMMU, May 19: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) which is on protest for over one year now held a strong demonstration at Jagti township on 566th day of protest today.
The protest was led by president of JTC and SKF, Shadi Lal Pandita. Addressing the protestors  Pandita urged  the Government to protect the Kashmiri Pandits serving in the Valley  and demanded that package employees problems be solved as soon as possible.  He said that apart from package employees, about 2,000 Kashmiri Pandits were working in Kashmir Valley and they should  be kept in security zones and provided Government accommodation immediately.
He also criticised the BJP Government for not solving the genuine demands of protesting migrants which included enhancement of cash relief to Rs 25,000 per family.
