JTC, SKF hold meet

JAMMU, Oct 20: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here, today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, president JTC and SKF.
P.L Thusoo chairman JTC, while addressing the participants said that in case the majority community of Kashmir province is really interested in the welfare and upliftment of Kasmiri Pandit migrants, they should not oppose the Satellite Township in Kashmir valley for return and rehabilitation of the community. Efforts of the majority community are required to curb militancy in the Valley and to get those militants responsible for killings of the Kashmiri Pandits during 1990, hanged to bring peace in the Valley.  Pandita has further said that encroachments made on the properties of the Kashmiri migrant families needs to be vacated and those responsible for making encroachments on the properties of religious shrines and temples need to be evicted from the illegal possession of these properties.
