JTC, SKF for permanent rehabilitation of Pandits

JAMMU, Mar 6: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front in a joint meeting today held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita has demanded permanent rehabilitation of displaced Pandits in Valley.
The meeting also demanded representation to Community in Government and legislative bodies for its political empowerment.
The meeting said that Pandits have suffered a lot over last 25 years of turmoil and they be provided one time compensation by making the assessment of these losses and the same be released at an earliest.
He asked the BJP which is in power at State and Centre now to fulfill its promise regarding curbing terrorism and eradication of corruption which have eaten up the vitals of the society.
Maintaining that the J&K is an integral part of India, the meeting said that no one on earth can separate it from the country.
Rajinder Dhar, Rattan Lal Bhat, M L Akhoon, M L Pandita, Gopi Nath Shah, Hari Krishan, Sanjay Pandita and others were present in the meeting.
