JTC, SKF discuss problems of Jagti inmates

JAMMU, June 25: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front was held here today under the President ship of  Shadi Lal Pandita, President of the two organizations.
The meeting discussed the problems being faced by the inmates of Jagti township in detail and the participants have expressed their grave concern over the lack of proper drinking facilities in camps.
Addressing the meeting Shadi Lal Pandita has said that the water reservoir has been constructed in the River Tawi which during rains and floods remains defunct and water supplies to this migrant camp get restricted which adds to the sufferings of the residents of this camp as they have to procure water for domestic purpose from far off places.
He demanded construction of a water Reservoir in the Camp premises for ensuring un-interrupted water supply.
Expressing concern over dilapidated condition of road from Kandoli Mata to Jagti he demanded its immediate renovation, transport facilities to camp, renovation of buildings and making 40 bedded hospital for ensuring proper medical facilities to the patients.
Rajinder Dhar, Rattan Lal Bhat, Sanjay Pandita, R.N. Pandita, C. L. Pandita, Sunil Raina, Vijay Pandita, Methan Pandita, Ramesh Bhat, M.L. Akhoon, M.L. Pandita, Hari Krishan were among others who attended the meeting.
