JTC, SKF continue protest; warn Govt

JAMMU, Nov 5: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) whose dharna entered 35th day today warned the Government not to test their patience and settle the demands at an earliest.
Today a strong demonstration was held by JTC and SKF members at dharna place near Lane No 7 in Jagti township under the chairmanship of its president, Shadi Lal Pandita in which Government was accused of betraying the Kashmiri Pandits.
Pandita said that the B J P Government totally betrayed the Kashmiri Pandits and broke it’s promise, as it has not done a single thing for the welfare of displaced people from Valley.
The Advisory Committee members of the organization namely M L Razdan, Kamal Ji Pandita, Ravinder Koul, Vinod Moza, A K Kachroo, J L Koul ,Gh Mohmad Khan demanded enhancement of monthly cash relief from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 per family per month and jobs for those migrant families where there is no government employee.
Raj Kumar Tickoo unit president of JTC convener of Soan Kashmir Front J&K and Sunil Koul, Sagar Pandita,Mithan Pandita, Shuban Ji Raina and others also addressed the protestors.
