JAMMU, Feb 1: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) has expressed grave concern over delaying tactics adopted by CAPD Department in sending the ration to Jagti camp in time with the result the camp inmates are put to many hardships.
JTC president, Shadi Lal Pandita in a statement issued here, today said that despite repeated pleas the CAPD Department instead of distributing the ration during the whole of the month or first two weeks was distributing the same during the last two days of the month with the result maximum ration card holders are deprived of the supply.
Mr Pandita also demanded that in view of holy Shivratri festival the Government should ensure supply of ration, LPG, sugar etc in advance. He while complimenting the D G Police for organizing tournament in the Jagti township has also demanded that on spot recruitment for migrant youth be held in police.
