JTC discusses demands of Jagti inmates

JAMMU, Dec 19:  Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) in a meeting today held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita its president discussed various demands of the camp inmates.
Addressing the meting Pandita demanded recruitment rally in police be held at Jagti township for migrant youth, filling up of remaining 4000 posts under PM package, compensation to over aged youth of the community, permanent rehabilitation of displaced Pandits in a Satellite township in Valley, one time compensation to each and every migrant family for the damage of crops and other property, restoration of property of migrants encroached by anti social elements in Valley, providing of transport facilities with renovation of quarters at Jagti, enhancement of relief from Rs10,000 to Rs 25,000 and repairs of road from Kandoli to Jagti township.
Ved Lal Pandita, R L Mahnori, Raj Kumar Tickoo, Sunil Koul, Rattan Lal Bhat, Shuban Ji Raina, Kashi Nath Bhat and others were present in the meeting.
