JAMMU, Oct 2: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) has demanded enhancement of ration quota to migrant employees who are given only 20 kgs of ration per family on cash payment basis.
In a statement issued here, today, Shadi Lal Pandita, president JTC said that even the one kg sugar which was also given to them on controlled rates has been denied now which is a total injustice.
He said the migrants have not also been given the ration for the month of September and demanded that the same be released soon.
Pandita while expressing concern over the plight of PM package employees said that many of them have been denied their salaries till date especially the migrant employees serving in Government school Bouniyar in Baramulla district of North Kashmir have not been paid the salaries of last three months.
