JPS holds Indian Heritage Quiz

JAMMU, Oct 29: CBSE Indian Heritage Quiz was conducted by CBSE New Delhi at Jodhamal Public School, (JPS), here.
Sixteen schools from Jammu, Kashmir and Punjab participated in quiz competition and Jodhamal Public School emerged as winners with 115 points in the city round with K C Public School as first runners up with 45 points and third position was bagged jointly by Sainik School Nagrota and Montessory Cambridge School Pathankot.
All teams were made to write the written quiz in which six schools entered into the final quiz namely Sainik School Nagrota, K C Public School, Jodhamal Public School,  Montessory Cambridge School Pathankot, Army Public School Damana and DPS Jammu.
Schools from Manasbal, Srinagar , Jammu and Pathankot had been a part of this quiz. Quiz Master  Shashank Malik conducted the quiz and was from CBSE New Delhi for the conduct of this quiz in a Infinite Bounce Pattern with 44 questions in this city round with 22 questions clockwise and 22 anticlockwise.
There was a great learning for each one present right from the teachers to students to spectators about the Indian Heritage and Culture.
Principal Jodhamal Trilok Singh Bist appreciated all teams for their efforts and said that all teams who have participated are the ones who have enhanced their knowledge this afternoon and congratulated the City Round Winners and wished them luck for the Regional Round to be held at Gurgaon in November .
