JAMMU, May 17: A joint webinar for IPM aspirants was organized by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya.
A total of 440 IPM aspirants including parents of potential students attended the webinar which was inaugurated by Prof. B.S Sahay, Director IIM Jammu, who briefed the aspirants about genesis of IPM programme.
He emphasized upon the fact that joint IPM Admission Test is being conducted by the National Testing Agency of Government of India and not by individual IIMs to ensure a national level test.
The very key objective of IPM is to provide a professional course option to the students after 12th class as the same is the need of the hour. IPM will enable us to groom the students in the field of management which is also in accordance with NEP 2021.
A detailed presentation about the campus of IIM Bodhgaya and IIM Jammu, faculty, student life at campus, IPM curriculum structure, admission process, eligibility, nature of entrance test, reservation policy and scholarships have been delivered along with walk-through of IIM Bodhgaya and IIM Jammu upcoming campuses.
The webinar has been coordinated by the first year MBA students of both the IIMs.
Parents of the potential students and aspirants raised questions about IPM programme and the faculty members from IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya answered the same.
