JAMMU, Apr 8: Joint Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Kapil Sharma today visited areas of Roop Nagar enclave and held meetings with the inhabitants regarding sanitation, health care and infrastructural development issues.
Kapil Sharma assured for speedy action on behalf of the organization on all the aspects covering mainly sanitation and efficient waste disposal, provision of service crew with proper accountability, check to keep fallow land and vacant plots, roads and lanes repairs, shifting of electric/ telephone poles from drains to avoid blockade, provision of street lights, restriction of movement of heavy vehicles through narrow lanes etc.
Among others present were J P Chadda, chairman, Jammu Welfare Organization, Kasturi Lal Gupta, President, Dr Vinod, Health Officer, JMC, Naina Shah, staff of JMC, BL Bhat, chief advisor of the organization, Ashok Kapoor, etc.
