NEW DELHI, Oct 25: Joginder Singh will be the new president and managing director of automaker Ford India, effective from December 1.
The decision was taken after Ford India president and managing director Michael Boneham has elected to retire effective from December 31, 2012.
Singh will be based at Ford’s India corporate office in Delhi, and report directly to Joe Hinrichs president, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa, a company release said.
Singh, who had joined Ford Motor Company in 1980, is currently president and managing director, Ford Business Services Center, Ford Motor Company, responsible for Ford’s Global Business Services operations headquartered in Chennai. (UNI)
