JAMMU, Oct 3: National Awami United Party (NUAP) president, Sandeep Singh condemned Government job offers to terrorists allegedly by J&K Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha.
In a press conference Singh said, Sinha’s statement of job offers to terrorists has demoralized the well educated youth of J&K and is also a blow to all those who had sacrificed their lives fighting terrorism.
It is pertinent to mention here that the LG Sinha has appealed terrorists to shun the path of violence and extremism and had offered them government jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities for dignified livelihood.
NUAP leader claimed that the Union Territory (UT) administration is appeasing terrorists by government jobs and other benefits.
“Our security forces have reduced the risk of terrorism and have protected lives of individuals in almost all terrorist prone areas of J&K,” he said adding that security forces and agencies have carried out a number of measures to protect interests of citizens against all forms of terrorist activities.
Singh also said that well educated youth are searching government jobs in J&K but LG’s statement for providing jobs and other benefits to terrorists is very unfortunate.
