DODA, July 30: Highlig-hting demands, the job card holders held protest at Panchayat Kharangal Kota in Sub Division Gandoh.
A large number of job card holders assembled at Panchayat Kharangal Kota in Sub Division Gandoh and raised slogans against Government and Rural Development Department (RDD).
The protestors alleged that RDD has failed to clear the pending wages of the poor people even after work stands completed one year ago.
“Mostly in all the Panchayats and other blocks, wages have been paid to influential workers are poor workers have been ignored”, they added.
They threatened to protest in aggressive manner if their demands including payment of pending wages and material costs are not redressed within one month.
