JAMMU, June 21: Jammu Municipal Workers Union (JMWU) affiliated with Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) here today organised a one day conference under the chairmanship of JMWU president, Rinku Gill.
Hundreds of municipal workers participated in the conference in which Harbans Choudhary, senior BMS leader and Ashok Choudhary, Sangathan Mantri were also present.
While addressing the delegates in the conference, Rinku Gill demanded that workers engaged through NGO from the last many years should be regularized without any delay and the wages paid to them should also be revised.
Ashok Choudhary, Harbans Choudhary, Ashwani Sindu general secretary, Manga Mattu, Shehzadi Gill, Narinder Pal Singh and Adarsh Ghai also addressed the conference.
After this a deputation of JMWU met Commissioner JMC, Dr Devansh Yadav and apprised him about their demands.
