JAMMU, Oct 25: Munsiff JMIC RS Pura, Rekha Kapoor today rejected bail plea of four persons of village Chakrohi in Suchetgarh area in connection with kidnapping of a minor girl and sent the accused persons on police remand.
The accused, who were denied bail, included Parshotam Kumar son of Om Prakash, Asha Sharma wife of Parshotam Kumar, Shakti Sharma son of Surinder Kumar and Dharvinder Kumar son of Som Raj, all residents of Chakrohi, Suchetgarh in RS Pura tehsil.
The Munsiff rejected bail plea of the accused terming the incident as heinous in nature. Koushal Kumar, Senior Prosecuting Officer opposed the bail plea arguing that accused had helped one Sanjeev Kumar in kidnapping the minor girl and, if set free, they could disturb the investigation of the accused.
After hearing the arguments, the JMIC rejected bail of the accused and sent them on police remand.
RS Pura police have registered kidnapping case against the accused under Sections 363/109 RPC.
