JMF Youth wing organizes seminar on “Communal Harmony & Brotherhood”

JAMMU, Sept 4: Jammu Muslim Federation (JMF) Youth wing organized a seminar on “Communal Harmony and Brotherhood” in Bathindi, Jammu.
In the seminar, prominent personalities from different sections of society, including educationists, lawyers, students and scholars from Jammu University, Cluster University and colleges participated.
The speakers highlighted the importance of communal harmony and brotherhood especially in Jammu. They stressed upon the youth to become the ambassadors of peace, communal harmony and brotherhood by organized inter-religious discussions at colleges and university level for better understanding of each other.
They said that every religion teaches lessons of humanity, mutual brotherhood, peace and tolerance. The aim of the seminar was making Jammu a symbol of peace, achieving harmony, creating understanding & reconciliation and achieving the goal of communal harmony, issues and challenges.
The main speakers were president Muslim Federation Abdul Majeed, Editor Gojri Section in Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages Dr Shahnawaz Chowdhary, cashier of J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu Advocate Aman Singh, secretary of Global Peace Organization and advocate Altaf Hussain Janjua, social activist Pariyat Sharma, Advocte Deepak Gupta, social activist Gorav Sharma, advocate Shamas Ud Din Shaaz, law student Raghav Saini, Advocate Umer Noorani, etc.
The proceeding of the programme was conducted by student activists Ahtsham Ul Haq and Nayeem Choudhary. Besides others, Numberdar of Bathindi Ch Jamat Ali and Retired Engineer Rashid Ahmed Fani were also present in the seminar.
