JAMMU, Aug 30: Chairman Public Health and Sanitation and PHE Committee of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Rajkumar Tarkhan along with Health Officer, Vinod Sharma seized over 200 kg illegal poly bags with fake stamping from shops and houses of a distributor.
Tarkhan said that use of the poly bags is harmful for human as well as animals.
JMC Health Officer, Vinod Sharma appealed to the public to stop using poly bags and expressed determination that Jammu shall be made clean by the JMC team.
Police department also coordinated in the operation of the JMC.
