JAMMU, Feb 17: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) sealed a fast food shop at Sainik Colony.
The enforcement staff led by Chief Enforcement Officer of JMC under the guidance of Commissioner Kiran Wattal sealed the premises of Babu Ram Dogra, son of Munshi Ram of Sainik Colony where a fast food shop was opened in violation of land use of the area from residential to commercial. The action will be taken under Section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.
The team also demolished one room under the high tension line at Lower Roop Nagar being raised by Jeevan Singh, son of Chattar Singh.
The sealing and demolition drive was conducted with the assistance of police teams from Gangyal and Domana police stations and District Police Lines (DPL).
