JAMMU, Jan 11: On the instructions of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Commissioner, Avny Lavasa and under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner (R) JMC, Sudhir Bali, JMC today took possession of municipal flat at Rehari Mohalla behind Central Jail, Jammu which was illegally occupied by Chanchal Singh, the then Retired Revenue Officer of JMC.
A handout of JMC stated that the illegal occupant was served several notices to evict the municipal flat but despite lapse of stipulated time period he failed to do so.
Further, JMC has appealed to all those who have illegally occupied the residential accommodations of JMC to vacate the same to avoid forceful eviction.
