JAMMU, Jan 22: On the instruction of Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation Mandeep Kaur and Joint Commissioner (Adm) R. S Jamwal, the Enforcement Staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer and Assistant Enforcement Officer of Jammu Municipal Corporation undertook a drive against unauthorized construction / violations.
During the drive the team demolished the boundary wall of Sameer Rashid Wani, son of Abdul Rashid Wani at Sidhra and another boundary wall raised by some person at Sidhra.
The demolition was executed with the help and co-operation of police personnel from Police Post, Sidhra, and District Police Lines Jammu.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation again appeals to the general public to refrain from making illegal constructions and get building plans whether commercial / residential approved from Jammu Municipal Corporation otherwise action as admissible under rules leading to demolition / sealing of the building will be taken.
