JMC adopts discriminatory approach in Sidhra: Malhotra

JAMMU, Feb 14: General secretary of Apni Party, Vikram Malhotra today expressed serious concern over the deplorable condition of Ward 71 in Sidhra with regard to its development following negligent attitude of the concerned Councillor.
Addressing a public meeting organized in the Ward, Malhotra said that the developmental activities have stopped with the adverse condition of lanes, drains and other activities.
This meeting was organized by Provincial president of Apni Trade Union, Raj Kumar and he was accompanied by general secretary, Youth Wing Abhay Bakaya, vice president Apni Trade Union, Sheikh Abdul Latief and many others.
“The Councillor was elected by the people with enthusiasm and has not visited many areas or reviewed any development of the Ward. After the elections, the people have claimed that they have never seen their Corporator,” he said. “When the Corporator is inactive and has no concern about the public issues, JMC has also adopted a non serious approach towards the Ward with regard to developmental activities,” he said.
Prominent persons including Puran Chand Rahi, Sheikh Latief, Bashir Haji, Mohd Kasam (Sarpanch), Mohd Hussain, Shokat Ali, Ashok Kumar, Latief Ahmed, Haji Abdul Gani, Ghulam Rasool, Haji Khatana, Showkat, Kamlesh were among others who joined the Party today.
