KATHUA, Feb 27: A monthly meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) held at Dreamland Park here, today under the chairmanship of district president, Rakesh Singh , UT advisor of the Committee, Arvind Sharma, UT organizer , Mahesh Kumar, provincial publicity secretary, Pankaj Verma and district general secretary, Pawan Kumar attended it.
It demanded release of pending arrears of grade two and grade three teacher pending since September 2018, framing of transfer policy for teachers appointed under ReT scheme as they have been working in the same schools for last 20 years, conversion of left over Grade Two and Grade Three teachers as they are suffering due to non release of salaries, convening of DPC for promotion of teachers as masters and sanction of master grade posts in SSA upgraded schools.
The speakers also urged the CEO Kathua to make provision for release of pending post facto and time bound permission files.
