JAMMU, Jan 12: To highlight their issues, a deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) called on Chief Secretary Atul Dullo here today.
The deputation led by UT President Vinod Sharma and UT Chairman Saleem Sagar interacted with the Chief Secretary and urged him to redress the burning issues of the teachers.
They raised the issue of provision of Old Pension Scheme in favour of employees of the UT for their better post retirement life as present NPS scheme is proving anti employees.
Relieving teachers from all sorts of non teaching assignments and make them concentrate on studies of the students so that they can be made accountable of their job and the provision of Comprehensive transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed ReT scheme who have been working in the same schools for last more than two decades and suffering badly especially females.
The Chief Secretary listened the deputation quite patiently and assured to redress the issues at the earliest.
