JKTF organizes teachers’ meet

JAMMU, Apr 14: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum Udhampur organized a teachers’ meet, here today, wherein Pawan Kumar Gupta, MoS of Finance and IT, was the chief guest and CEO Udhampur Balbir Singh Chib was the guest of honour.
Ganesh Khajuria, State general secretary of the Forum, was present as special invitee in the function, which was attended by about 500 teachers from all over the district.
On the occasion, the Forum presented a charter of demands seeking removal of pay anomaly, clearance of pending liabilities in Mid-Day Meal Scheme, adjustment of masters who were promoted in February 2014, adjustment of newly promoted I/C Lecturers, dislocation allowance in favour of all who are serving beyond 13 km from their residence, Earned Leave and leave encashment in favour of teaching community, Senior teacher grade to under graduate teachers, enhancement of medical allowance and transfer policy for proper educational environment.
Pawan Kumar Gupta assured his full support for the early redressal of genuine and just demands of the Forum.
Earlier, Rajesh Sharma delivered welcome address while Ram Parshad presented charter of demands. Surinder Sharma, district president of the Forum, presented the vote of thanks while the function was hosted by Sanjay Sharma.
Others, who were present on the occasion, included Gulsher Ahmed, Sanjay Baria, Chaman Lal, Vijay Kumar, Kewal Gupta, Ravi Padha, Ashok Kumar, Satvir Chowdry, Tilak Raj Gupta, Satpal, Rakesh Balwal, Ravinder Triphathi and Rajinder Kumar.
