JKTF organizes events for Rath Yatra for restoration of Old Pension Scheme

JAMMU, Sept 10: Under the leadership of Chairman Ganesh Khajuria along with all the top Central leadership, Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) organised various programmes in different Districts of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in support to the three-day `Rath Yatra’.
The `Rath Yatra’ is being organised by All India Primary Teachers Federation to aware all the employees of the country who are covered under NPS after 2002 at Centre and 2010 in J&K, the difference between the two schemes and for the restoration of Old Pension Scheme.
The aim of the Yatra is to raise voice for uniform grades for Teachers throughout the country.
The Central leaders, including Dr Ram Chander Dabas, Sr Vice President AIPTF; Vinod Thakran, Working President AIPTF; Subash Chander, General Secretary Punjab Govt Primary Teachers Association and Deepak Pant, Secretary Delhi State AIPTF, were leading the Yatra from Punjab and were welcomed by Ganesh Khajuria. Thereafter, a number of meetings were organized Lakhanpur, Vijaypur, Marh and Katra.
The main convention was organised in the auditorium of Teacher Bhawan Gandhi Nagar, Jammu which was attended by hundreds of Teachers, Masters, Lecturers, Headmasters and the senior leadership of the Forum from Kashmir Valley and Chenab Valley of Jammu Kashmir Union Territory.
In all the Districts, the District presidents of concerned Districts along with District bodies, Zonal Presidents and prominent members of the JKTF cadres remained present during the programmes.
Those who accompanied the Chairman during Rath Yatra, included S Surat Singh Toofani, Darshan Sharma, Gopal Singh, J A Agah, Raj Singh, Rajinder Gupta, Kuldeep Singh, Kuldeep Verma, Gautam Singh, P D Singh, Subash Sharma, Rajeshwar Singh, Bharat Bushan Sharma, Jugal Dubey, Narinder Singh Chib, Kanchan Menia, Saiqa Akther, Rupinder Kour, Pawan Sharma, Rashpal Singh, Gurnam Singh, Kuldeep Sharma , Sanjeev Sharma, Dharminder Singh and others.
