JAMMU, Feb 12: An emergency meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, chief patron of JKTF, J-K UT, in which all the burning demands & issues being faced by all the cadres of School Education Department were threadbare discussed.
All the speakers in the meeting expressed their anguish & concerns over delaying the process of regularisation of Headmasters, Lecturers, ZEOs, Principals and CEOs working in the capacity of In-Charge/ Look-After officers for the last so many years. The Forum urged the higher authorities to take the appropriate steps for the regularisation of all the In-Charge/ Look-After officers of School Education Department at the earliest without any further delay.
The speakers demanded holding of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meetings for promotions in district cadres including the promotion of Multi Tasking Staff to Junior Assistant, Lab. Assistant, Library Assistant & also for promotion of Lab Assistant to Teacher, Library Assistant to Junior Librarian, Junior Librarian to Librarian & Junior Assistant to Senior Assistant.
The meeting urged for the immediate adjustment of all the left-out promoted Masters who have been awaiting for their adjustment. Forum also demanded filling up of the vacant posts of Masters to facilitate the drawal of salary in favour of the Masters who were posted against the SSA posts, fresh DPC for the promotion of Teachers to the Master Grade in order to remove the stagnation in the Teaching Cadres and regularization of In-Charge employees.
Ganesh Khajuria urged the higher authorities to address all the just, genuine and legitimate demands at the earliest to provide justice to the aggrieved employees.
