JAMMU, Sept 3: Today a meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) was held at HSS Sumb under the chairmanship of Satish Dutta.
The meeting discussed the various problems of the teaching community including screening test of the ReTs, salary problems of ReTs both unregularized & regularized, salary & arrears, issue of New Pension Scheme (NPS) teachers non documentation of service book of both NPS & ReTs liabilities of Mid Day Meal scheme amounted to thousand of rupees & general problems of all the teaching community.
Addressing the gathering, Satish Dutta provincial general secretary of JKTF assured teachers that their salary issue was projected at the right place but State Project Director was transferred so the issue could not be solved. He appealed the authorities to fill the post as soon as possible so the issue of salary is solved at the earliest.
Rajeshwar Singh & Rahul Sambyal district president & district general secretary raised the issue of MDM liabilities & non documentation of the service book of the teachers. They warned the government that if MDM liabilities are not cleared at the earliest teachers will stop cooking food in the schools.
Yashpaul Sharma senior zonal vice president & Ajay Singh zonal general secretary focused on the discrepancies in the offices & stressed that these should be removed. Others who spoke on the occasion were Sudershan Singh lecturer, Surinder Singh, Kailash Singh Tilak Raj Vandana Rajput Tara Chand, Manohar Singh. Parshotam Sharma presented vote of thanks. All the teachers assured the office bearers of full faith in the policies & programs of JKTF.
