JAMMU, June 14: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, led by its general secretary Ganesh Khajuria, called on Director School Education Yasha Mudgal and submitted her memorandum, highlighting the teachers’ demands.
The demands included adjustment of repatriated Masters and promoted Lecturers in Commerce, early release of salary grants under RMSA, SSA and NPS, early permission for higher studies, promotion of Masters as Headmasters, adjustment of teachers promoted as Masters in 2014, release of Mid Day Meal grant and consideration to subjects and classes during the process of rationalization.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured that justice would be done to the aggrieved after consultations with the Forum.
The deputation comprised of Rajinder Gupta, Gopal Singh, Yograj Singh Slathia, Kuldeep Singh, Soorat Singh Toofani, Subash Sharma, Ram Parshad, Vindo Sharma, Darshan Sharma, Roop Lal and others.
