JAMMU, Oct 18: The Junior Assistants (JAs) selected by the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) today met with former Minister and senior BJP leader, Choudhary Sukhnandan, at his residence in Gajansoo Marh to discuss their grievances.
They informed the former Minister that 1523 candidates had been selected by the JKSSB for the Junior Assistant positions.
Among these, they told the senior BJP leader that 40 candidates assigned to the Planning Department have not yet joined due to the administrative apathy, despite the fact that their police verification process is also completed.
The candidates also mentioned that they had already brought this issue to the attention of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, but no resolution has been reached so far.
After listening to their concerns, Sukhnandan telephonically contacted the Commissioner Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, who assured that necessary steps would be taken promptly to address the demands of the selected candidates.
