JKSCERT organizes orientation programme on NSF-FS 2022

JAMMU, Aug 23: JKSCERT organised three- day orientation programme on National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS 2022), which concluded today.
This programme was organised by Department of Curriculum Development and Studies, Academic Unit II, JK SCERT, Jammu, under the mentorship of Director SCERT J&K Prof Prikshat Singh Manhas and the guidance of H R Pakhroo, Joint Director SCERT Jammu.
The target group of the program was 50 KRPs from DIETs and Schools of Jammu Division and the aim of this three days program was to orient the faculty of DIETs and School Education Department of Jammu Division.
In this workshop, 50 Lectures/Masters/Teachers from 10 Districts of Jammu Division participated. The participants were oriented by the experienced Resource Persons, who included Deepak Kumar AO, Anil Sharma, AO, Deepak Sharma Sr AO, Dr Rohini Sharma Sr AO, Sushil Hitaishi, AO Parshotam Singh AO Dr Jyoti Sudan AO, Shazia Kouser, AO Monika Dogra AO Neena Puri, AO Meena Thakur SRP Amit Sharma AO Amit Kumar Bhagat.
The programme was conducted under the overall supervision of Prof Swarn Singh Head AU- II and Dr Sanjeevni Asstt Prof, Head Department of Curriculum Development and Studies, with the cooperation of the members of coordinating team – Manjusha Kapoor, Bikram Simgh, Amit Kumar Bhagat, Deepak Kumar, Neena Puri, Anil Sharma and Ram Dayal (MTS).
The purpose of this workshop was to enhance and upgrade the knowledge of teaching faculty about National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS 2022). On the last day of the programme the participants shared their valuable feedback. Joint Director H R Pakhroo, in his speech, stressed on the participants to disseminate the knowledge and experience gained in the programme in the field and work as per the vision of NEP 2020.
In the valedictory session, Parshotam Singh, Coordinator of this Programme, presented the vote of thanks. The Report of three- day workshop was compiled by Neena Puri, Arsh Kour and Bikram Singh.
The programme culminated with the distribution of appreciation certificates to the participants and the resource persons by H R Pakhroo, Joint Director, JK SCERT, Divisional Office Jammu.
