SRINAGAR, Jan 13: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today termed new order of Jammu and Kashmir Government on removal of illegal encroachment from state land as another dictatorial step which will direct impact life of small scale farmers and poor people especially in rural areas.
The Party asked J&K Government to stop rolling such order of anti people nature and rather take action against land mafia and big sharks involved in large scale encroachment of state lands.
In a statement, Kashmir province incharge of AAP Dr Ghulam Mustafa said that J&K Government has come up with a fresh order for state land encroachments asking Deputy Commissioners to remove illegal encroachment from state lands before 31st of January.
Terming this order as another dictatorial move by bureaucratic government of J&K headed by LG Administration, Dr Mustafa said that J&K Government is almost every month rolling such orders that directly impact life of a common man and people are forced to spend sleepless nights.
He said that Government should roll out orders to safeguard life and interests of a common and poor man and a small scale farmer but instead all the Government orders are devised in such a manner that it directly hit life of a common poor man.
Regarding the new land status order of J&K Government, Dr Mustafa said that this order will impact life of common citizens and small scale farmers who are spending sleepless nights due to risk of eviction from a few acres of land that they are surviving with and now Government is hell bent to snatch these small pieces of land from them posing a risk of their survival.
He said, “J&K Government should pay concern towards ill doings committed by big sharks and land mafia who encroached and sold thousands of acres of state land but are moving free as they are politically well connected.”
Dr Mustafa demanded the Government order immediately be removed in the interest of poor man and take action against big sharks and land mafia.
