JAMMU, June 18: “Where there is a will there is a way”. This proverb has been proved true by an inmate of Residential School for Blind at Roop Nagar, who has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET)-Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Political Science.
Angrej Singh, son of Krishan Chand of village Tharmahanpur, tehsil Manpur, has become the first blind person of J&K who qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET)-Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Political Science, the result of which was declared by University Grants Commission (UGC) recently.
The other inmates of Residential School for Blind along with Superintendent Mohit Bharti and staff members celebrated the success of Angrej Singh.
“If you have will, you can conquer the world”, said Angrej Singh, adding that “My success will encourage others to appear in examinations to be conducted at national and international levels”.
