JAMMU, Nov 15: Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) is among the six Commissions/ Authorities, which will have new Chairperson and Members soon.
The exercise to appoint new Chairpersons and Members of these six Commissions/ Authorities has been necessitated following the re-organization of J&K State into the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh as all the incumbent appointees of these bodies are deemed to have held office till October 31, 2019.
J&K Water Resources Regulatory Authority, J&K Vigilance Commission, J&K Ombudsman for Panchayats, J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination and J&K Commission for Backward Classes are the other statutory bodies, which will have new Chairpersons and Members as per the provisions of J&K Re-organization Act, 2019.
