JAMMU, June 8: A delegation of executive members of central body of J&K Private Schools Association (JKPSA) led by Kamal Gupta, Association president met Director School Education (DSE) Jammu, Dr. Ravi Shanker Sharma.
The delegation claimed wrong doings during verification/checking of results of private schools in zone Udhampur, Jib etc by some officials which compelled the owners/Principals of private schools of Udhampur to protest.
The delegation also claimed that such officials superseded the order issued on April 27, 2022 which was only needed at the time of inspection for the recognition/affiliation/extension of private schools and not for the confirmation/authentication of the result of private schools.
The delegation demanded enquiry into the matter and immediate transfer of erring officials to save private schools.
The DSE said that the erring officials have withdrawn their powers for verification/checking of results and the government has constituted a team for enquiry on the allegations.
The delegation comprised of Rameshwar Mengi, vice president; Ajay Gupta, general secretary; Sanjeev Luthra, Member Central Executive Body; Deepak Handa, district president and others.
