JKPC reiterates commitment to settle migrants’ issues

JAMMU, Dec 29: J&K Peoples Conference (JKPC) held meetings at various places here which were presided over by B L Pandita advocate and senior vice chairman of the Party.
Addressing the meetings Mr Pandita termed the historic victory of Peoples Conference chairman, Sajjad Gani Lone and B A Dar as victory of peace loving people of the State and democracy.
He said the people of Handwara and Kupwara townships including migrants voted enmass for the Party to ensure its victory. He reiterated the commitments made by the Party on passage of Shrines Bill, employment package, enhancement of relief, removal of encroachments and other demands of the community.
The meetings were addressed by Kanya Lal, C L Raina, S N Dhar, Suridner Pandita and Shadi Lal Kanth.
