GANDERBAL, Mar 21: J&K People’s Conference (JKPC) has demanded compensation to the people whose houses were damaged in Hajan area of Bandipora district recently and also to those youth who were injured in police lathicharge during the mob protest against the killing of a youth.
In a statement here, today party district coordinator Mir Ghulam Rasool Butwani and other senior leaders Sheikh Qamam-ud-Din Shilvati and Peer Farooq Ahmed Farooqi also accused the NC and PDP for doing politics on the issue and exploiting sentiments of people.
They said that NC and PDP always exploited the sentiments of Kashmiris for their vested political interests and asked the two parties not to further exploit the innocent people.
They said that it was due to political uncertainty created by the NC with its misrule over the years that Kashmir has been put on fire as whenever Party was out of power since 1953 it tried to put an question mark on accession. Peer Farooq Ahmed Farooqi.
