JKOPA holds meet, felicitation function

JAMMU, Dec 26: Jammu and Kashmir Offset Printers’ Association (JKOPA) in its 6th general meeting held here discussed various issues related to the Association and took decisions for follow-up action.
The meeting was followed by felicitation function in which president, All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), Gobind Bhargava, Subhash Chander, past-president, AIFMP, Rajneesh Manoaja, general secretary, Joginder Singh, vice-president (N), Adarsh Pal Gupta, chairman, Paper, Paper Board and Raw material, AIFMP and vice president, NIPA, OP Mahajan, were honoured.
YV Sharma, president, Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Jammu, was the chief guest.
Arun K Gupta and Rakesh Mehta welcomed all the guests as well as chief guest. The guests were presented mementoes as well as saropas.
In his address, Mehta highlighted the achievements of Gobind Bhargava, Rajneesh Manoaja and Jooginder Singh.
Ravi K Gupta highlighted the activities of the Association. Rajneesh Manoaja told that Jammu based printers could purchase gensets in case of electricity problems, as the State Government is providing 100% subsidy on it.
Bhargava in his address apprised the audience of the latest machinery concerning printing, industry and emphasized the utility of the same in order to complete the market.
The chief guest welcomed the printing industry tycoons and appreciated their coming to Jammu. He said that such visits will surely help in boosting the local printing industry.
On the occasion, JKOPA calendar for the year 2013 and Newsletter were also released by the guests.
