JAMMU, Aug 16: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today organized a massive demonstration to lodge strong protest against Pakistan’s unabated medaling in the internal affairs of India and its overt and covert support to secessionists and anti-national forces in J&K, here today.
The protesters led by Harshdev Singh, Chairman JKNPP and former Minister and Yash Paul Kundal, State president Young Panthers and Ex-Minister, raised pro India and anti Pak slogans accusing Pakistan of its gross unwarranted interference in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, Harshdev Singh lambasted the statement of Pakistan High Commissioner in India, Abdul Basit made in New Delhi on August 14 that ‘Pakistan will never abandon the Kashmiris legitimate struggle for freedom’ and it will always support the Kashmir freedom bid.
Strongly denouncing the roguish utterances of the Pak High Commissioner, Mr. Singh said that the conduct of Mr Basit had been highly outrageous of diplomatic norms and practices in the past also with his continuous honeymooning with the Separatist and other anti-national forces inimical to the interests of India.
Urging upon the Govt. of India to declare him as ‘Persona non grata’, Mr Singh sought his immediate deportation to Pakistan.
Admonishing Pakistan for its mis-adventures in J&K, its provocative utterances on Kashmir, its terror training camps, its Hawala deals, its drug trafficking, its moral and material support to secessionism besides its highly malicious propaganda in the print and electronic media against India, Mr. Singh lamented that Pak’s notoriety had assumed alarming and monstrous proportions.
Mr Yashpaul Kundal while warning Pakistan to desist from its highly mischievous and hostile conduct said that the Union Govt. must give a blunt message to Pakistan restraining it from indulging in day dreaming on the issue of J&K. He said that the Nation was eagerly awaiting the tough posturing against Pakistani misadventures as emphatically proclaimed by Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi on scores of occasions.
