JKNPP chief, 4 others file nominations from Udhampur LS seat

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) chief Bhim Singh was among five candidates who filed their nomination papers from the Udhampur parliamentary constituency in Jammu and Kashmir today.

Five nominations were received by Udhampur Returning Officer Jitendra K Singh, an official spokesman said here today.

Other candidates who filed their papers today are Shyam Lal of All J&K Kissan Mazdoor Party, two Independents — Anil Kumar Gupta and Ranjit Singh, and Prem Nath as substitute candidate for BJP nominee Jatinder Singh Rana.

Meanwhile, six nomination forms were issued among the applicants during the day. (AGENCIES)
