RAJOURI, May 31: One day conference of Jammu Kashmir Basic Health Employee Association district Rajouri was held under the leadership of Sushil Sudan and Vinod Kumar president and secretary general of JKMEF at CMO Office complex Rajouri, here today.
On the occasion, long pending demands of the Basic Health Employee Association were discussed in the conference which were regarding enhancement of fixed travelling allowance given to Basic Health Employee (Malaria) from Rs 45 to Rs 2000 per month, issuance of RMP/First Aid License to Basic Health Employees after retirement, who are well trained in the Health Department and having diploma of multipurpose worker from the Health department.
Other demands were allotment of rooms to Malaria Inspector with staff in every block, Issuing of bags and first aid medicine to Malaria Staff, exemption of night and waiting duty in favour of Malaria Staff working in blocks, filling up of vacancies post of DMOs, MI/SHIs/JHIs through DPC as earlier as possible.
Farooq Mirza, president of JKMEF, district Rajouri, Yousif Choudhary DMO of District Rajouri and Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary also discussed the problems faced by Malaria Staff in the district.
At the end of the conference new body was framed unanimously. The new members are Mushtaq Choudhary as president, Muzair Hussain as general secretary, S Bhajan Singh as senior vice president, Munir Khan as publicity secretary and Mohd Aslam as cashier.
Block wise secretaries were also announced. They included Shadi Lal for Nowshera, Zameer Hussain for Kalakote, Sham Sunder for Sunderbani, Mohd Sharief for Manjakote, Imdad Malik for Kandi and Mohd Bashir for Darhal.
