JKLTF discusses demands

Excelsior Correspondent

JAMMUI, Aug 4:  A meeting of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (JKLTF) was held under the chairmanship of Mohan Singh and Bhushan S Verma, president and chairman of the federation, today.
The Federation felt deep concern on the transfer orders issued by the Director School Education, Jammu of Masters and Lecturers. Large number of orders are either premature or only completing the stay of two years leaving the Master who are serving in far-flung areas for last five to seven years.
Federation felt that these transfer orders issued by the Director School Education, Jammu have been are through the corruption, nepotism and favoritism which exposes the claim of Education Minister to make the Education Department corruption free, transparent and having highly ethical values.
The Federation has requested the Education Minister to conduct an enquiry in this regard and take action against the concerned officers.
