JKGTF highlights demands

KATHUA, Feb 6: Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum (JKGTF) held a district body meeting under the chairmanship of its union territory general secretary S Parveen Singh here today and highlighted demands of the teachers.
The Forum demand regularisation of in-charge teachers who were promoted in 2018 from Lab Assistant, removal of pay anomalies in favour of Master grade, issue promotion list of Master grade which has not been issued since 2016, DPC of all cadres of Education department, filling up all the vacant posts of Headmaster and sanctioning of posts of Class IV and junior assistant.
While addressing the meeting, Parveen Singh expressed great concern over the stagnation in promotion of the employees and appealed to the Education authority for redressal of the genuine demands of the teaching community at the earliest.
Those who participated in the meeting, included Surjeet Singh Jasrotia, Devinder Singh, Jagdish Chander, Angrez Singh, Sunil Kumar, Bharat Bhusan, Tarsem Lal, Mohan Lal, Rajesh Kumar and Madan Lal.
