JAMMU, Dec 18: J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) under the chairmanship of Sanjay Gupta has been conferred with two National level awards for Atal Pension Yojana (APY) by Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).
The awards were conferred during a strategy review meeting and felicitation programme organized by PFRDA at New Delhi, as a recognition towards achievement of targets under Campaigns “Beat the Best & Be the Best” and “Shine & Succeed” launched by PFRDA in the current Financial Year 2022-23.
Chairman of the Bank, Sanjay Gupta received the awards from Supratim Bandyopadhyay, Chairman PFRDA, in presence of AG DAS (Executive Director PFRDA) and Ashish Kumar (CGM PFRDA) who acknowledged the efforts of the JKGB for spearheading the Government’s initiative of APY enrolments in J&K and Ladakh despite topographical complexities.
While dedicating the awards to the employees of the Bank who are working at the grassroot level with full enthusiasm and zeal, Sanjay Gupta said that these awards at National level will boost the morale of the employees. He further assured that the Bank will continue to play a major role in promoting Government schemes to the vast sections of the disadvantaged and low-income groups through its Financial Inclusion and Insurance Department, and will continue to provide benefits of APY to the unorganized sector for their social upliftment.
