JKFCEF demands release of DA, 7th Pay Commission

JAMMU, July 14: A state level meeting through virtual mode of Executive Committee of Jammu Kashmir Forest Corporation Employees Forum (JKFCEF) was held under the chairmanship of Suresh Sharma its spokesman to discuss various burning issues facing Forest Development Corporation (FDC) employees.
The meeting expressed the hope that the demand of FDC employees for implementation of 7th Pay Commission and release of 39% deficit DA will be released by the Administrative Department without any delay.
Sharma explained that employees since March 2020 faced lot of hardships on account of irregular pay in view of switching over of SFC to a new company namely FDC. However , after protracted struggle at least now employees have started receiving unrevised pay but regretted that employees are still drawing 6p.c. scales with 39 percent less DA and it is very difficult for them to cope up with the skyrocketing prices of all essential commodities . He demanded immediate release of 39 % pending DA and 7th Pay Commission report.
Sharma demanded release of 39 pc DA, release of 7th Pay Commission benefits, holding of DPC , making definite policy to settle SRO 43 cases, regularisation of remaining DWs , uniforms etc immediately otherwise employees will have no alternative but to hold protests.
All executive body members of JKFCEF including C.K.Sudan,Aijaz Darzi, Irfan Fareedi, Rishi Katal, Fayaz Naik, Manjit Singh, Bhawani, Sandip Sharma, Majid Rashid,Javid Ahamad, Manjoor Mattoo, Sharief Sohail, Dalip Sharma, Yaseen Lone, Altaf Hussain, Mohd Shafi, Mohd Raza Qazim, etc attended the meeting.
