JAMMU, Feb 4: JKDF district rural president Deepak Sharma in consultation with the State president Anil Gupta today constituted the rural body for district Jammu. The move was the part of party strategy to strengthen the worker network and organizational structure across the State. Among the 26 nominated office bearers for rural unit of Jammu district, 7 members are designated as vice presidents, 5 as general secretaries, 6 as secretaries, 7 as joint secretaries and one as treasurer. The rural body of JKDF has given representation to almost all major rural areas of Jammu.
Capt Chankar Singh from Akhnoor, Karan Singh from Balwal area, Rattan Lal from Nikkian Jourian, Om Prakash Sharma from Sangrampur, Romesh Chander Gupta from Makwal, Pt. Ghanshayam Sharma from Bishnah and Butta Singh from Makwal camp has been assigned the responsibility of vice presidents.
Mangat Ram Gupta from Barnai, Romesh Singh from Raipur Satwari, Bachaspati Sharma from Akhnoor, Manmohan Singh from Simbal (R.S Pura) and Shashi Verma from Hakkal-Satwari were nominated as general secretaries.
Gopal Sharma from Patiala Chak, Jaswant Singh from Bishnah, Deep Raj Choudhary from Alora, Kamal Kishore from Jaswan, Vijay Kumar from Gho-Manasa and Balbir Raj Sharma from Alora has been nominated as secretaries.
Purshotam Sharma from Sangrampura, Madan Lal Bhagat , Jagdish Gupta from Soujana, Rajan Magotra from Gajansoo, Baldev Raj Choudhary from Bakshi-De-Kothe, Jagdev Chand from Barnai and . Ram Kishore from Kanah Chak were appointed joint secretaries. Rajkumar Gupta has been nominated as treasurer.
