JKCSNGEU delegation calls on DyCM

SRINAGAR, Aug 26: A delegation of the office-bearers of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Union (JKCSNGEU) today called on the Dy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh and hailed the initiatives taken by the Government for the welfare of the employees.
The Minister for Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs, Relief & rehabilitation Syed Basharat Bukhari was also present.
JKCSNGEU was led by its President Ghulam Rasool Mir, Vice President Suresh Bedi and other office-bearers.
The Union members thanked the Government for conceding to its various demands which were pending since long and hoped that other demands like Career Progression of the employees, enhancement in Durbar Move TA, enhancement of medical allowance, reduction of qualifying service from 28 years to 20 years and removing pay anomalies of various cadres would be redressed in a time bound manner.
Besides, the Union also called for strict adherence to the Govt Order No.169 of 2004 dated: 10-02-2004 relating to the allotment of residential quarters to the Durbar Move Employees.
While interacting with the Union leaders, Dr Singh said the Government would address the issues being faced by the employees in a time-bound manner. He said the Government is aware of the genuine demands of the employees and it would be our endeavor to ensure a good employees-Government relationship which would further give a boost to the work culture thereby ensuring good governance at all levels.
While speaking on the occasion the Minister for Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs, Relief & Rehabilitation Syed Basharat Bukhari reiterated the Government’s resolve to maintain a good relationship with the employees which would ensure good deliverance at all levels of governance.  He said the demands projected by the Union have not been solved since long and need to be given due consideration in view of their genuine nature.
