JKCL employees demand salaries

JAMMU, July 8: J&K Cement Limited Employees in a meeting here, today have urged the Managing Director to release their last 17 months pending salaries besides depositing six years CP Fund of the employees in their accounts.
As per a release, the employees also criticized the deputation policy of JKCL and alleged it is based on pick and choose policy. They said 200 employees of JKCL are on deputation at present. The employees also demanded 6th pay Commission arrears and implementation of 7th Pay Commission on the pattern of Government employees and other PSUs. They said it has been already announced by the Central Government that there will be uniformity in respect of pay and wages but till date the UT Government has not implemented these policies in letter and spirit and it has betrayed the JKCL employees.
The employees have also submitted a memorandum to Managing Director in this regard demanding early settlement of their demands.
