JKATA demands early conduct of DPC for AEA

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Nov 3: Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) today demanded that DPC of Agricultural Extension Assistants (AEAs) be conducted immediately under SRO 442.
The demand was raised during a meeting of the Association held under the president ship of Dr Surinder Radotra along with executive members, to discuss the prime issues lingering over the years.
The Association members also demanded inclusion of 7, 8, 9 years of Rehbar-i-Zirats service in regular service for Old Pension Scheme on the pattern of ReT.
Dr Surinder Radotra, president, JKATA said DPC of 75% quota of Agriculture Extension Assistants (AEAs) against 75% quota has not been conducted till date (in case of highly qualified professional technocrats) while as DPC of 25% quota of Field-Assistants under various categories (Matric/Under -Matric with BAT Diploma only) has already been conducted twice by the Directorate/ Administration.
Radotra further urged the authorities to consider only Pay-Grade/Grade up- gradation impact while conducting DPC in case of Field- Assistants under various categories rather than on their positions upto the next levels, otherwise, there will be no difference between Matric/U-Matric with BAT only and highly qualified professional technocrats with BSc Agriculture (4 years degree course)/MSc Agriculture (2 years degree course).
He appealed Girish Chander Murmu, Lieutenant Governor of J&K to personally intervene and direct the administration to conduct DPC of AEAs on urgent basis.
