JAMMU, Aug 28: A joint delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Divisions led by Dr Surinder Radotra, president – Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA), called on Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu and Minister of State (MoS) for Agriculture J&K, Sunil Sharma and Director Codes at Civil Secretariat Srinagar regarding long pending demands / issues of Technocrats.
The main issues include inclusion of services rendered by VAEA’s ( erstwhile ReZ’s) since 2007 and elimination of pay anomalies i.e., Rs 4280 instead of 4200, exactly at par with JAEO’s pay grade.
The Finance Minister and MoS Agriculture patiently heard the grievances raised by the delegation and assured them that the same would be addressed very soon as far as the pay-anomalies are concerned. The matter would be taken up with the 7th Pay Commission Committee. On the issue of inclusion of 7, 8 & 9 years of service, MoS Agriculture instructed the concerned officials to put up the file through APD for further necessary proceedings at the earliest.
